Just facts about this hotel. Great service but.....

This hotel is famous for its excellent service which is true, the owner is responsible for everything and he is really focused on service. He tries to keep a good reputation of his hotel, you can read a lot of reviews in internet about this hotel, and everyone will mention service as the main strenght. HOWEVER, you need to consider the following before booking: a) No lift or elevator exists, and you will need to use stairways at least for breakfast and for some rooms. b) Breakfast is terrible, the orange juice is charged separately and the omelette is terrible. If you are used to have light breakfast, you will not have an issue. Coffee was undrinkable... c) We didn’t have hot water in the morning, which the owner agreed it was a problem in the hotel, and that he was solving it. This might have been an isolated incident but it happened. d) If you book the option budget / economy double deluxe room that most probably will mean you will be in the basement (although much quieter than the upper levels...), and double rooms are basically two beds together. e) The safe of the room is not attached to the furniture, which means basically you will have your money with a code, but someone could take the safe...... I am just saying, be carefully the type of room you book.

There are a lot of restaurants near this hotel and at walking distance. Also main attractions are at walking distance.

Well Satisfied at Best Point

The location is great for the main sights in Sultanhamet. Located at the end of a street packed with dozens of small restaurants. Best Point staff very friendly and helpful. I had a small room, but it had it’s own small patio which I used. Best Point was good value for me.

Great service and location

This hotel was in an excellent location, within easy walking distance to the Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and the Underground Cistern. The staff was very friendly, always offering us tea or coffee as soon as we walked in. The rooms were not large, but were clean and nice. I would definitely recommend it as a good deal for the money in Istanbul.
