Staff is great, hotel is not
I stayed in Faliraki for 5 days in September (the low season). Let me start by saying that the staff of the hotel is great, treating you like family and helping solve your problems (lost luggage was mine)! However, the hotel itself leave much to be desired. The description lists air conditioning, but does not say that getting it requires an extra daily charge. Sleeping with the balcony door open lets in quite a few mosquitos. Housekeeping does a good job of daily cleaning, but will not put the top sheet on the bed for some reason. The pool was uncleaned (maybe because of the low season?) and unusable. Hot water was scarce in the shower, and the hotel provides no amenities such as soap or shampoo. If you are on a budget, this is an OK place to stay, just be prepared for what you DON’T get.

Get a car to see this amazing island. The distances are greater than you think, and the bus service can be inconvenient.

Friendly environment
This hotel is old, the rooms are not nice, the bathroom did not even have a shower curtain, bur everything was working fine The big pros are that the stuff is extremely friendly, assisting us in anything we needed, including finding a good mechanic for our car that broke down. Also the price was imbattible and it included breakfast. It is very close to Faliraki where all the fun is and is located 12km away of Rhodes town, connected to it with a 2 lane avenue, really fast... We went there not caring about hotel activities or room, since our objective was to move all day and sleep in the hotel only, so it was perfect. If you are looking for a luxurious place to stay - all included, then it’s definitely the wrong place to go...
