This is the best kept secret in the area!
Large resort hospitality, while perfectly ok if you don’t know better, is quite different from the sincere and cordial reception you receive in a small French hotel.The owners of La Victoire, Natalie and her husband,Pierre,could not have been more welcoming or accomodating. I would go out of my way to stay there again!
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Vence has all that St. Paul de Vence (just down the road) has except for the touristy atmosphere and sidewalks crowded with visitors.Visit St. Paul on a day trip - stay in Vence. The Taverne St Veran is familial and fairly priced - the food is excellent. La Litote another good restaurant.
