Great Location!
The location on Mill Lane can’t be beat -- two minute walk to King’s Parade, a great breakfast restaurant, the open market, and the best chelsea bun store in the area, but quiet with good views of the Cam locks/mill race and a quiet patio right on the river. The surrounding streets are classic Cambridge. It’s a bit modern -- no period character at all, but clean, good-sized rooms with the usual amenities. Staff was willing and friendly, although a bit slow and disorganized. No complaints, this was a good find.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Because you are right down town you don’t need a car at all, and there’s no shuttling back and forth in taxis as there would be with a more distant hotel, leaving you more relaxation and enjoyment time.

Would definitely go back!
Under new management, the hotel is as good as ever. I was given a free upgrade to a suite, with views of the Cam and relaxing quiet. Easy to walk everywhere too.
