Radisson Fairlawn -- We Go Back Again & Again
We go to the Akron area a few times a year, and we always stay at the Radisson Fairlawn. The staff is friendly and helpful, the amenities (swimming pool, whirlpool, on-site restaurant) very good. It’s located conveniently close to downtown Akron and to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, while being in a suburban rather than urban setting. Along with its own restaurant, it is also within walking distance of more restaurants, and a very short drive to yet more restaurants and to shopping.
We especially recommend the Mustard Seed Market and Cafe, about five minutes drive from the Radisson Fairlawn, for shopping and dining and for live music in their cafe on weekends; they have an excellent flexitarian menu in their cafe suitable for omnivores, vegetarians, and vegans. For vegan fine dining we recommend Chrissie Hynde’s VegiTerranean Restaurant in downtown Akron.

Very Comfortable Stay
The rooms and hotel were very clean and very comfortable. Cleaner than many others I’ve been to over the last few years.
