a surprise
Pleasant motel on the western outskirts of Peterborough. Easy to find. Pretty isolated, so reckon to eat in. The food is better than average, though. It’s actually right beside the Olympic rowing course -- the site is lovely --- so weekends bring a stream of young crews. Our weekend was one of the half-dozen or so per year when national championships are run --- on our weekend, junior college eights. So the place was packed: 150 wonderfully fit and wildly excited kids. We enjoyed watching them. But check beforehand if you want a quiet stay !
