Nice hotel
It is a bit far from downtown, but the COEX mall is just next to the hotel, where you can check in and catch the airport bus, there are plenty of cafes, etc. Do not miss the Kimchi Museum. The hotel is really good, with some minor issues (aircon did not work properly on the South side, it was getting really hot at night, so we were given another room on the other side and received a bottle of wine as a gift).
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Breakfast at the hotel is expensive. Go down to the COEX mall instead, there are a lot of cafes and an excellent bakery near the subway entrance.

Hotel location is perfect for shopping and dinning
Wow, the hotel location was perfect because it is right next to Airport center so you can check in your luggage way before the actual flight time and take later shuttle to go to the airport (ICN) also, shopping, shopping, shopping. Hotel is connected to majore shopping centers including underground shopping food court, movie theater, museum,,,, Room was spacious and clean and luxurious. Service was so nice too, everyone spoke english and the concierge people can help you with any questions. PERFECT STAY, enjoyed it 1000%. will always stay at this hotel or Intercontinental Coex hotel whenever I go to Seoul, Korea.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
have late check out,have bell boy take your luggage to airport center connected to the hotel,check in at the Korean Air,Asiana Air just like you would in Inchon International Airport but earlier. Do immigration check,then take the shuttle to the airport 11/2 hour before and go into the separate line since you are done with the luggage,ticketing,immigration already.you can board on the plane right away.
