Not Impressed

The service at the hotel was pretty much non-existant. The rooms were tiny but that’s expected pretty much anywhere in Europe. Our shower had no door or shower curtain so every time we took a shower we ended up with water all over the place. The good thing was that it was located right next to a metro stop which made getting around pretty easy. Finding the place was difficult, even for someone who lives in Paris. I will say that the cleanliness of the room was good, especially the bathroom but the rooms were older. If you’re looking for a place to lay your head down like we were this would be a good place for you. If you’re looking for a hotel to add to your experience keep on looking.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Although it may be an inconvenience I would suggest taking a laptop so that you can take advantage of wireless internet. After traveling through five different countries we ended up spending close to $100 just for computer and internet access at our hotels or internet cafes.

Nice hotel near Metro station

It is a nice hotel with good service in the pleasant location. There are many cafe/restorants around. There are couple food stores close to hotel. We were on the first flour and enjoyed small patio/internal garden later in the evening or during the breakfast. Size of the room is the only minus. If you plan to spend only few hours to sleep in the room, then it is o’key. If you want to rest and relax then keep in mind that room is simething 3x3 m

This hotel is disgusting

This hotel is no bargain despite its relatively low price. It is not well maintained nor kept cleaned. My wife and I saw a good amount of moldy stain on the back side of the shower door (our room has no bathtub but a stand up shower). I can go on and on to give more examples on how digusting our room was ... This is by far the dirtiest hotel which I have ever stayed in!

A fit for purpose hotel

I had a good stay in that hotel, it deserves the bucks you pay for it. So close to Metro Station, helpful staff, and in a decent area close to good restaurants and fast food (i.e. McDonald’s, where you can have free WiFi)

You get what you pay for.

When I arrived at this hotel (after midnight as I had called ahead to ensure they knew) and had to spend 10 minutes pounding on the exterior door to wake the night clerk, I should have taken that as a sign and gone elsewhere. The shower was broken and ended up having to be used without the head (like a hose) and when I complained the hotel staff refused to fix it. Same with the toilet. I was extremely un-impressed.

Small room, but quiet and comfortable

Our room was quite small, but the bed was comfortable. (Not much space for anything else.) This small hotel is very quiet-- it is on a very quiet side street, and the air conditioning is also very quiet as well as comfortably cool. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast (extra charge) was satisfactory. The location was very convenient for the conference we were attending. For visiting other parts of the city, the metro stop is only a few steps from the hotel door.

Will not recommend

The rooms are extremely small. The bathrooms are dirty with rusty faucets and grout around the tiles looking black. The bath did not have shower curtains making it impoosible to take a shower without flooding the room. No shelving provided to place your toileteris even for your toothbrush. Closets are either pipe closets or if you are lucky enough to have a genuine closet the sliding glass doors would not open fully. Hangers were either broken or missing. Toilet seat would come off easily. The telephone in the room did not work nor did the entrance light in the room. Overall the accommodation is not in line with the star rating given for this hotel. The hotel is however extremely well located in a small quiet street, very close to metro and bus stations, stores and restaurants. The staff is also very friendly. My comment is the result of having to change rooms three times during our stay.

Not a three star hotel

Hotel staff was rude and unhelpful. A simple question regarding borrowing an iron was treated as an insult and we were told they do not give irons out because of security reasons. We were also chastised for not leaving our key at the desk eventhough no mention was made of this at check-in. Room was clean. Hotel elevator was so tiny that two slim persons with two medium sized suitcases did not fit inside.

No amenities

Hotel did not have a shower, only a bath. They also did not have washcloths. Rooms were very small and bed was uncomfortable. However, the service was awesome. Everyone who worked there was very nice and willing to help. You can also make reservations for trips and buses to the airport right from the hotel. It was also in a very nice, fun neighborhood.
