Manila Pavillion in Ermita-UN Avenue
The hotel lobby was very elegant when you first walk in. The casino is to the right and noticeable. Unfortunately, I was not a big winner there, machines were somewhat hard to win from. The room we had on the 18th floor was not remodeled. Supposedly only certain rooms are remodeled at this time. If you stay you want a room on the 16th floor or below, since they look newer. I asked for a non-smoking room and ended up with a smoking room. My clothes smelled the next day due to the excess smoke from previous occupants. If you stay I suggest staying on a lower floor since you have better chances of getting a better room.

DIRTY!
This hotel is dirty- from the moment you get out of the elevator, hallway and all the way to the room. The first night’s stay was on the 12th floor, the room was supposedly non-smoking but it stinks! carpeting was dirty, bathroom was disgusting both the sink & the tub’s drain were clogged. Next stay was on the 17th floor. Both the room and hallway’s floor carpeting was even more disgusting! I have never seen a hotel room with that extreme dirt on the carpeting, the bed cover was so old,stained & dirty.The bathroom was just dirty from the floor to the shower. This hotel has potential, it needs a MAJOR overhaul, the management should walk around to see for themselves how disgusting this place is-

Lobby impressive...rooms shabby.
The lobby is impressive. The service is good, however, the standard rooms are shabby and in need of renovation.
