ok
Having "Dive Resort" in the name is a bit misleading, I feel. To me, a "Dive Resort" has on site dive shop, boats available, easy shore diving, staff that dives.... dive dive dive, everything diving. Not so much with my off season visit. For the price, yes its very inexpensive, I was happy with it as a place to stay in Cozumel. It is a taxi ride from everywhere however the staff was excellent and incredibly helpful and courteous. I changed hotels after my arrival as I was expecting the "Dive Resort". People I met on my scuba vacation that had stayed there during the "season" said they were very happy with it and would go back... I am super, super, super pleased with both this hotel and Expedia in the ease of changing my itinerary.

Good Value - Consistent
We having been staying at the Fiesta Americana in Cozumel for scuba diving for 6+ years. As usual the service and staff was nice. Occupancy this time of year is low (maybe 15%) so it was very quite. We plan to be back again next year.

Nice hotel, not enough diving
The hotel staff and accomodations were fine. Problem was, I wanted to dive. No afternoon diving and difficultly getting night dives.
