The Jebel Ali is paradise in the Dubai desert
First, let me just say that it was my great pleasure to stay at the Jebel Ali Golf Resort. The golf course is pristine and amazing for 9 holes. They bring you iced towels and banannas while your on the course. They Gave me a set of brand newish Calaway X-18s with top of the line everything. Those clubs were better then my own set. The resort itself was heavenly, from the private beach to the go cart track. I lived at the pool bar, and if you want a shave... the barber is the best in the middle east. The only thing that I found substandard was the room service breakfast. That was just a pass all around. I had better breakfasts at the McDonalds at the airport. If you stay though, the SPA experience is a must. It was the best ive had. All in all this hotel is a must stay and I will be a return customer.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Dont go through the hassle of bringing your own clubs, their rentals are very good. Its hot so make sure you remember sunscreen and gatorade. I was burnt to a crisp the first day, but the second was good. Make sure you use their car service, its much better then the taxi services. Oh and you have to go to the German Village and have a Flaming Lamborghini... its a waterfall of fire into a glass and you drink from a straw as it falls. Its really cool, take video.
