Great hospitality, pool not so much!
The location was very convenient...walk to Capital (which we toured & were glad we did - kids were a bit bored but when they see Capital on tv they can say they were inside it!) & Smithsonians (Air & Space...). Short cab ride to all other attractions. Concierge was very helpful in recommendations & making dinner reservations. Only complaint we had was with the pool - the area was very open which was nice but was very chilly as a result. Ladies locker room was NOT redone & I would not step fooy in it. Pool itself was metal - yes metal- which as my hubby said made him feel like he was in a lobster pot!!! One perk we signed up for thru Expedia was the hospitality room on 11th floor which we accessed w our room key - WEL WORTH IT!! Snacks, breakfast, water & soft drinks, light dinner - all excellent & super value at only $20 extra per day. All in all very pleased & would stay again if pool area was updated (rest of hotel was redone).

Had a great time in DC! Hotel was excellent, and service great. Room clean and comfortable. Hotel restaurant and bar very good.

I brought my son and daughter to DC for the weekend. We were very satisfied with the hotel. The concerige was extremely helpful. Check in and check out were very easy. The doormen were wonderfully helpful. Overall a very good experience.

This hotel is easy to get to from Union Station (only 2-3 blocks away) It’s very easy to get to from New York Ave.
