Clean...but a bit run down
they say it’s a 4 star hotel...but that may have been 30 years ago. it was clean....but all a bit old and cheap. the mattress was a bit hard. they do have a good breakfast. you have to leave a 10 euro deposit to have access to the remote control for the TV....i thought this was a bit odd....for what is supposed to be a 4 star hotel. i’d say it’s a 2 star hotel.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Rent your car from Hasso. much less expensive and includes insurance. drive to the different beaches on the island...one of our favorites was Sant Elmo.

False claim for 4-star hotel
The hotel stated that it is a 4-star hotel. It’s facility is worse than 1-star. The nonsmoking room was filled with heavy smoke with mildew moist smell of the furniture. There was no decor in the small room and the bathroom is beyond description. The lighting blinked for 5 sec before it would be on. I literally could not stay in the room for more than 5 min without getting choking and castrophobic. The picture posted on internet is not from the hotel premise. When was the last time you actually use a key to open the steel door for the hotel room? The elevator in this "modern hotel" has sliding door! I checked out of the hotel immediately paying for the penalty. The hotel is clearly giving misleading and false information.

The Food bar was more than you could ask well worth the money.
Traveler's tip on nightlife
There is a small bar in the alley behind the Hotel That stay up half the night. I had to go down there at 2:00 am. I ended up staying the rest of the night. They were a great bunch of people from all over Europe.
