Would definitely stay here again.
We arrived early at 1:00 P.M. and the very courteous staff had the room ready and allowed us to check in earlier than expected. Very nice room on the 8th floor. Spacious room, King sized bed,flat screen television,nice modern/clean bathroom.Overall I was very satisfied with the hotel and the staff. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Edinburgh, for the comfort,value,location[just off Princess Street,and very near Waverly Bridge buses and trains].

Brilliant Experience!
This hotel was fantastic. You walk out of an old city into a modern and really quite lovely hotel. It is relatively close to everything; yet it’s not in the middle of the crowds. If the heart of Edinburgh were a square, then the Apex Waterloo would be located on the corner. The room itself was quite nice. We had a 37in LCD hanging on the wall. There was a great pool. An overall, great experience.
Traveler's tip on dining
There is a fantastic pizza place just down the street on the corner. Also, there is a Costa Coffee in the train station near by.
