Very Impressed
We were very inpressed with the professionalism and care from the hotel workers to the comfort of the linens. Absolutley would stay again!!!

Overrated hotel
hotel restaurants closed early (some times before 10:30pm)and room service for food stopped at 11:00pm. This is not a 4 diamond hotel.

A bit tired
This is a very big conference hotel connected to the convention center. The hotel is a bit tired and worn overall, though the room was re-done more recently than the common areas. It was ok, but not great.

this hotel was located at the south end of Nicollet Mall, which allowed us to walk to many things including restaurants, shops and the sculpture park.

A very nice hotel, comfortable beds, baths a bit small, though. Great location, right on Nicollett Mall Staff was friendly and professional

it was ok
generally ok but they didnt change bed and pillow sheets.... and a little bit dry air in the room.

The hotel is a nice place to stay. It is close to many things;entertaintment, bars, resturants, and clubs.

Try Oceanaire if you stay here. It is one of the better seafood restaurants around. Also, service by all of their staff is extraordinary, above and beyond at all levels!!

Noisy Interior
Room doors are very light weight I think, there was a lot of noise constantly from people walking down the hallway. Beds are not the comfiest and definitely the least comfortable ones that I am used to in Hyatts generally

Don’t get a room on same floor as the pool!
I would suggest not getting room on the same floor as the pool area, unless you like being woken by children yelling/playing in the early morning. And actually throughout the day, till the pool closes.

The Key’s Family style restaurant we loved for great home cooking with local produce at great prices. Try any of the omelets, which are served all day, & also try the homemade roastbeef hash!

Poor Night Manager and Security Service
The Night Manager and Security have absolutely no customer service skills. They are very demeaning and condescending when they speak with you. They become very defensive and do not make you feel like you are welcome or want to spend your money there. Either than that experience the hotel was beautiful and the day time staff were very professional, accomodating and welcoming.

Very nice hotel, walls kinda thin though
My only gripe with this hotel was the first night when there was a large group of teenagers there for a convention and proceeded to stay awake until well after 1:00 screaming and running in the hallways. Security and hotel staff were unable to get them to stop, but eventually my husband was able to convince them to shut up and go back to their rooms. Normally it would not have mattered to us that much, but we had to be up early for an important event. Just be cautious when you make your reservations and check for any "special events."

Hyatt - Everything you’d expect in quality
The Hyatt in downtown Minneapolis was a pleasure and a delight. The staff at the time of check-in were friendly, courteous and helpful. As this was my first time to visit Minneapolis, I was lost most of the time. The staff was very helpful with tips and directions and recommendations. The room was very comfortable. The king sized bed made for a good, sound sleep. The alarm clock was a little less than I was expecting, but if the clock is my only complaint, they are not doing so bad. The restuarants in the hotel, Taxxis and the Sports Bar (I don’t recall the name) were very good. The soup served in the sports bar was delicious. The "loaded nachos" were very tasty. Taxxis offered a wonderful breakfast buffet and an omlette bar as well. The staff in Taxxis exceeded my expections in courtesy and service. THANK YOU!!! I would quickly recommend the Hyatt to anyone traveling to Minneapolis. Good work!

Just Okay
Beds are comfortable. Hallways are plain white walls. Difficult to get a smoking room as per my request. No spa hotel. No hot tub. Yes, they have a swimming pool...just okay.

Nice Location- Not a 5 Star Hotel
I really appreciate the hotel’s location, however the hotel seems very antiquated, and I was expecting a 4 star hotel...I’d give it a 2.5, not a 4...the bathroom was not very nice, the tub was not pleasant...the bed was very comfortable and nice...but not a great hotel...you also have to pay for the water that’s in your room...and wireless internet is a hefty rate per day!!!!

Very nice hotel
Quality stay if you don’t want services or extras. You have to pay for everything besides physically staying in the bed. Parking is $17, not $12 for 24 hours. Wireless internet and the fitness room are extra. Even the 2 bottled waters in the room are extra.
