Extraordinary Service
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, then traveled to Toyko leaving most of our luggage at the Hyatt (taking a cruise from Kobe). Upon our return, the hotel staff went above-and-beyond the call of duty to ensure our taxi knew exactly where to take us in Kobe. What a customer focused thing to do!

Study Location
The location of this hotel was certainly not "central", but the frequent shuttle buses to Osaka Station ran well and made the location much more convenient. Near the hotel however was the wonderful Osaka Aquarium - well worth visiting.

Not a good location
The hotel is nice, although I did not like the decor that much. The main problem is that it is located in Osaka bay, on a man made island, far away from everything. Unless you are going to see an exhibition on the same island. Going down town takes more then 30 minutes and you need to change 3 trains! There are not any restaurants around the hotel, so if you go out for Dinner returning by taxi is very expensive, but the trains end at 23:45. If you do like a futuristic look, with great view of the grey Osaka bay then there is a good point there for you.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Only one stop away on another man made island is the spectacular aquarium. Superb!!!
