Nice budget hotel
The hotel was very nice. The staff was very friendly and the room was very comfortable. The air conditioning worked great! Main thing which was important to me was that it was right down the street from the train station (a 5-minute walk, if that long). Only problem, which wasn’t a big deal to me, was that the stoppers in the sink and tub did not work. I go to Paris every year and I would definitely want to stay at this hotel again.

A Pleasant Surprise
We stayed here 9/26/08 to 9/30/08 for a quick trip to Paris for a friend’s anniversary. I had really low expectations - cheapest hotel in the 10th Arr. and right in front of Gare de L’Est. Very clean (and my wife is a clean freak) Very friendly. Great location close to Gare de L’Est Metro. Nice neighborhood. Highly recommend for budget travel.

Good location - medium rates
The hotel is located very near "Gare de l’est". This makes it accessible both for metro whithin Paris, and trains to all France. It was clean, but the rooms are somewhat tiny.
