Cool Art Deco Hotel
Riviera South Beach is a friendly, kind of quaint litle hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room decor was unusual, with Hunter green walls and gilded trim in the grooves of the woodwork. The shower was spacious, and the brown tiles looked really nice. Bed was soft and comfy. Best of all it was about an 8minute brisk walk to the convention Center. F.B.

Its very "Art Darko"
The decor is the darkest I have ever seen in a hotel. Not necessarily bad, just dark. Very dark! Breakfast was skimpy. Why is the hotel so frugal? It was basically toast and dark brewed coffee. No juice. No fruit other than green apples were offered. Only granola for cereal. Skimpy, skimpy, skimpy. All the hotel guests commented. Many purchased their own juice and brought it. One guest left the remainder of their juice and said, "Give this to the others," and left. I then went to ask for some juice, only to be told, "No juice." What????? Bizarre hotel.
Diners beware. Prices arent listed on menu. Drinks cost $25 each. Your bill will leave you stunned. Pushed my retirement back many months.
