the worst rip off hotel
When you arrive at the hotel nobody is greeting you and helping you with your luggage. The front desk people are very unprofessional. They are not knowledgeable and dont put any effort to help you out, very obnoxious and they dont care about the guest at all. The breakfast they serve was bad and extremely expensive. They dont leave the newspaper front of your door unless you request it. We stayed there , because we wanted to move to Southlake, Tx, but after this service we lost trust and the desire to move to an area where the service is so poor.

Comfortable - Watch out for all the "add-ons"
The Hilton Anatole Dallas is a comfortable well appointed hotel. It is a convention hotel so the spaces are cavernous but elegant. Booking through Expedia, I was assigned and "inside" room. My experience has been that an "inside" room generally has a view of an interior courtyard or some other interior space. The Anatole DOES NOT. The inside rooms have a window to the hall way, consequently there is no light and you must keep the draperies closed at all times. At check in I was told this was what I was assigned and this is where I would stay. I went further up the chain and found a front desk manager who IMMEDIATELY changed my room to one with a window. He was coridial, polite and understanding. All prices for items purchased in the hotel are EXTREMELY expensive. Advise anyone staying to rent a car, as there are numerous restaurants and shopping opportunities in the area. At discounted rates, I highly recommend the Anatole. At "regular rates", it is not worth the extra. The work out area/health club had an exhorbitantly high daily use rate with a limited variety of equipment and amenities. Dont bother with it.
