Can’t wait to go back
I was extremely pleased with my stay here. Ligia and her family treated me like family, they took care of my every need and they all went up and beyond to make sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. this will be a regular vacation spot for me from now on.

Outdoor living
The Hotel was great they are extremely helpful when planing tour trips they can definitely get the best deal. The rooms are nice and clean and the breakfast is great. Arenal is definitely a great vacation spot. Be aware that the hotel is not on GPS and its about 10 mins away from the main city la fortuna.

Very comfortable hotel with outstanding staff!
My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and didn’t want to leave! At first we were disappointed with the location (it’s about 5 miles out of town/a $5 cab ride) but the rooms were so clean and comfortable that is was worth the trade off. Also, the staff was incredible welcoming and kind. They made us breakfast every morning and were helpful with all of our needs. They even trapped a poison dart frog for us to see and drove us into town when the cabs weren’t running. I highly recommend Lavas del Arenal.
