Easy access to the city
We stayed at this hotel to avoid paying the expensive rates of hotels in the city. It’s not far from the Darien metro north station and we were able to get into the city with no problem. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful and even let us check in early. Our only problem was finding transportation back to the hotel when we got back from the city late at night. The hotel shuttle had stopped running and we tried 4 different cab companies that would not come get us. All in all the hotel is wonderful, but if you are using it as a substitute for a hotel in the city make sure you can get back to the hotel at night!

Very impressive
The bed was sooo comfortable. The rates were very affordable. I will be looking for any other DoubleTree I can find.

Nicely decorated, very comfortable
The room was so pretty, and comfortable...lots of pillows, featherweight comforter, and quiet. Perfect location close to Darien, where there is great shopping and upscale restaurants, and close to a commuter train to NYC, a great way to see the city without driving or parking in it. The warm cookies when you check in set a happy mood!
