OHares Best Hotel
After I made the reservation, I must say I was concerned when I read the reviews. So many people complained about cleanliness, staff politeness, elevators not working. I have to say, after driving 6 hours from Ohio and getting in to the hotel at 1:00 a.m., the staff was not only polite and courteous, but made our check-in a breeze. Elevators worked fine the entire time and although when you stand outside and watch a plane beginning to land, you think its going to be an issue with noise in your room. Not once, did I hear a plane while staying in our room. The restaurant food was delicious. The only issue that was a concern with us is that they charge $16 a day parking. It was confusing to us that if we wanted to leave, would we have to pay again...so rather than take that chance, we stayed in. Overall, I would definetly stay at this location again.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
If you are wanting to go to attractions in downtown Chicago, then this may not be the hotel for you. The traffic leading in an out of Chicago is atrocious. Took 1 hour to go 16 miles. If you do, use a transit method (the L or subway).

Great if you have an event at the Allstate Arena
I choose this hotel when I have a concert to attend at the Allstate Arena. You can walk out the back door...across the parking lot...and right in to the Allstate Arena. No worries about driving, parking, etc. There is a continuous stream of large airplanes flying over on their way to OHare and the water pressure in the shower was what I would consider a trickle. I can overlook those, however, for the convenience of the location.
