Days Inn Elkhart

Good place to stay for ND football games.

15 minutes from South Bend. Right off the Indiana turnpike. Several restaurants to choose from. Good price.

Needs alot of work on the place

This Inn is need of alot of work. The bathroom was in very poor condition. The room was not very clean as the entire place is way outdated. Days Inn should make sure there Inns are kept in much better condition.

the place needs torn down it’s a dump

It is old. Very smelly (musty damp oder) and it wasn’t raining that day. the beds were very uncomfortable, and old stained up matress’. overall a very bad expierence. won’t be staying in that chain again. anywhere!

I would stay at this hotel in a heartbeat.

This was our second time staying at this hotel. We had our grandchildren with us both times. We enjoyed it very much. Everything was great, the help was always friendly when we seen them and we would consider coming back again next summer. Thank you so much.

Not impressed

Had bad water pressure. Thought I would run out of hot water everytime I took a shower. Glad I only stayed a few days. Would not stay there again if I travel to another business appointment.

alright for a quick stay

This hotel was okay, old, but clean. Easy drive to Notre Dame

Decent, but not as close as described to Notre Dame

I thought the hotel was very nice in terms of being one of the cheaper options for a gameday stay in the South Bend area. However, it wasn’t as nearly as close as pictured, and the cab rides back and forth were outrageously expensive. The hotel itself was nice for a two-night stay, but I wouldn’t recommend any more time. simply put, it get the job done for a Notre Dame home game.

Nothing Too Special

Our room was quite run-of-the-mill. The two beds weren’t overly huge, but did the job. The wireless internet was also spotty, making it difficult to connect. Besides that, everything was fine. We particularly liked the later checkout time (noon), which allowed us to sleep in a little later before getting on the road.

In Transition?

The first room I was placed in had not been cleaned or prepped in any way. The second room was better, but when checking out I found two others had not had their rooms cleaned during their two day stay. The clerk gave them some lame excuse about not cleaning every day unless you ask, but no signs were posted to that effect. The breakfast was meager and they did not have enough for the people there. By 7AM most things were gone....unless you are big on bread and coffee. Not very good experience. I doubt I will stay at Days Inn again.

Not impressed

Room was non smoking but had an odor to it that was not pleasant. Shower curtain was plastic & smelled like cigarette smoke. Ice machine didn’t work and they only had one.

Only a last choice
