Quality Inn Tucson

not impressed at all

i thought the room was dirty and we asked for extra blankets and was not given any.

Not impressed

Large rock and gem show going on. Hotel was noisy and very busy. Wireless Internet signal too weak to work from room.

Not a pleasant ecperience

Plumbing went bad on second night, we returned late and had to relocate at 10:00pm to another room. Couldn’t find the luggage caddy so had to move evrything outselves. Returned late next night and our room had not had housekeeping. Although the people were friendly I found that one shift never new what the other shift was doing, lots of confusion. Breakfast was great. Sorry, would not stay here again.

Tired Hotel

Hotel is quite tired looking. Worn carpets. Broken bannisters. Non functioning door locks. Had an "old" smell in the hallways. The worst part, however, was when we checked in to the rooms we reserved ahead of time (2 rooms). Had to get front desk to take us to 6 different rooms before we were able to get adjoining rooms that had door locks that worked (card readers were broken). Good breakfast. Looks good from the outside. Friendly staff. Convenient location. Would look around next time. We stayed here mainly because of the good reviews from others on Expedia and due to the "name brand" status of the hotel. Did not seem especially "Quality" to our family.

Traveler's tip on dining

Go to "Chopstix" restaurant on Ajo avenue east of Tucson Electric Park. Food is absolutely wonderful.

Sufficient

This hotel was sufficient for our purposes. We just needed a place to sleep for the night (nothing fancy). It was clean enough. We were able to check in early. The only thing I had a problem with is that the swimming pool is outside... in the middle of the desert... Who wants to swim outside? Overall, we were satisfied.

nice pool and spa

the pool and spa was very relaxing. The hotel has native Arizona landscaping very nice.

Just down the road is a very good steak house, the Silver Saddle Steak House & Lounge.

I will never stay there again, nor will I recommend anyone else stay there. Completely subpar.

when I reserved this hotel, I thought it was one by the airport. It was not the same one but it did have on-call shuttle from the airport, which was dirty and had a crack windshield. the hotel had a free breakfast, the common areas were pleasant and unique, and the staff was helpful and bi-lingual. however, the rooms were old, catv did not work, it was noisy due to the freeway near-by, and there was internet only in the lobby. i recommend to not stay there.

Not too great

There are ongoing rennovations but they could have done better by us. They were not full up and the room we had was tired. They could have given us a room that was not soo close to I-10, very very loud. I would pick somewhere else.
