Nice, clean, quiet place
I was driving up from San Diego in the evening and just needed a clean, inexpensive place to crash before driving into Sequoia National Park the next day for an extended backpacking trip. Downtown Visalia is pretty quiet at night, and there was plenty of parking available. The room was spacious and quite clean; no whiff of cigarette smoke (a deal-killer for me) was detectable. I had to rouse the clerk with a night bell, but he appeared quickly and was cheerful, efficient, and friendly.

Good hotel
The room was very hot when we checked in because the airconditioner was turned off. It took most of the night to cool the room down. The room was larger than average and clean.
