Clean and Functional
Taos, NM has been ruined in the past 20 years. Traffic was out of control, bumper-to bumper and there was garbage all over the town. I was VERY happy to have a place away from town center. The road the Days Inn is located on is very noisy, but my room was clean and the breakfast was okay. The price was reasonable and I would stay there again IF I am ever forced back to Taos.
Traveler's tip
If staying at the Days Inn in Taos, NM, approach the hotel and the town through the South. Attempting to drive about the town is nonsense. Park in one of the closer strip-mall lots and walk to avoid traffic insanity. The town is no longer "quaint" or pretty in any way. Ruined by too much toruism.

Room to small. Have stayed at other days inn and they were better kept.

Good Value for the Money
This is an excellent hotel. It was clean and well appointed and very convenient to all the places I need to go. The manager and his staff were very helpful. I definitely would go back.
