Would stay there again
Friendly and helpful service. Shuttle driver actually took us to restaurant in another part of Bethesda and picked us up instead of just going to a designated Metro station. Hotel’s off of the Metro, but shuttle runs regularly to it.

Nice hotel, but could be better maintained
Overall, it was a nice hotel with many advantages. My room was very nice and comfortable, the hotel was very conviniently located, and they offered convinient services such as free shuttle to NIH (I was there for an interview at NIH). And the rate was surprisingly low compared to the quality of the hotel. I was very satisfied until I found out about the slow drain in the bath tub (impossible to take a shower) and dirty iron (it left some stain in my dress shirt). When I requested the maintenance about the bath tub drain, they quickly send someone and fixed it at least. I still think that the hotel was very nice and the rate was very reasonable, but I believe that I deserve better cleaned and well maintained room.

Exceptional Service
Not only was the condition and maintenance of the hotel exceptional, but for once, I got to customer service that EXCEEDED my expectations. This trip was not really business or leisure, as I had a relative having surgery at the nearby NIH, so by the time I arrived at this hotel, it had already been a somewhat stressful week. The staff at every level exceeded ’great’ customer service by operating corporately at that level whereby they were ’reading the guests and their needs’ and being proactive in the service that they gave.
