Hotel was functional for business
The hotel offered a one bedroom accommodation, which was larger than the traditional studio. A small refrigerator with a small microwave is helpful to store refreshments or to warm up a snack. There were several restaurants within walking distance and the Sky Train was a short walk albeit rough walk as there are no connecting sidewalks to the train station. The hotel is more suitable for business stays as it is in a business center, although, if you don’t mind the quarter mile walk to the Sky Train station that once again is via a dirt path, the station is one transfer and about 20 to 30 minutes from Vancouver center depending upon the connection. The sink in my bathroom had a couple of chips missing in the porcelain and the furnishings were somewhat dated, but, the room was clean.

Not impressed
The hotel is too pricey for it’s quality and services. The only thing going for it is it’s location. 2-3 miles from downtown Vancouver and close to the local train station and malls. The sheets were torn, the room had a little stink in it, and the bathrooms were stuffy. The soaps were bad.
Stay in one of the downtown hotels on Burnaby street or similar places.
