For young crowd - Very Trendy - meat market
For a young & trendy crowd or singles... not our scene. Everything is expensive and for sale. Nothing complimentary in room except paper & maid service. No inroom coffee , tea etc...Bathroom is small, lacked ample lighting & no door. See through glass (both sides)in shower not for older couple or children. No bathtub. View from room was the best thing,but other hotels in area have that view and more. Skip the valet at $30 a pop. No airport shuttle - $25 cab ride from airport

Highly recommended
We highly recommend the new W in Ft. Lauderdale. We have stayed at nearly every hotel in the area (four star and up) and it has a great atmosphere, great service, great food. Wonderful pool area and bar that are extremely busy on the weekends. It is a place where the locals seem to congregat as well.

slick Fort Lauderdale
Loved the hotel -just 1 issue-they keep it much too cold! We mentioned it the first night at the bar and they said thats how they keep it. We would have had breakfast there every day and drinks every night and eaten in their restaurant but the ultra cold temperature forced us not to.
