Visitors from Australia
The hotel staff were great. Very helpful and polite. The hotel is in a prime position on the beach, however it is well overdue for the pending redevelopment in June 2009. Walking distance to Venice Beach and a number of restaurants close by.

Nice Location on Marina
The check-in was friendly and pleasant and quick. Our room was big and clean and attractive. The location was just down a bit from Venice Beach but there was also a beach at the marina. I would definitely stay here again when visiting the Venice Beach area.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
On Venice Beach there is a tidal pool. If you go there when the tide is coming in, you can see the sealife wake up... like sea anemones and crabs. It was really worth checking out.
