Good for the money
I stayed here before I left on a safari. It was really convenient as it was the leaving point. The included breakfast was better than most others I have had in Africa. The staff were friendly. You can arrange tours directly at the hotel but don’t be afraid to haggle over the price. Otherwise take a cab from the hotel, the staff can arrange it, and pay entrance fees yourself, it’s much cheaper. For the price you pay and for what else is out there, this is a good hotel. I would recommended it. Also it is gated and has an in-room safe, if that gives anyone piece of mind.

You can arrange an airport transfer with the hotel by e-mailing them. It was cheaper than other quoted prices. They responded quickly to my e-mails.

Clean Hotel, Great Service and Security
We stayed here for two nights and found the hotel to be clean with respectful staff and good security including guards and a locked gate at night. Mosquito/insect nets in each room. The breakfast buffet that was included was great for the Western traveller. Great location, close to the airport and downtown Nairobi, and in a safe part of Nairobi. I would recommend this to someone who has not travelled to Kenya and would like to feel comfortable without the need for luxury and the prices that go with it.
Traveler's tip
Bring a car charger for your electronic equipment! This is extremely helpful when on safari or long trips by van/car to locations where electricity is limited or not available. Also for those places that do have electricity, if you have more than one person or mutliple electronic devices, bring a power-strip. Many of the hotels I stayed in had limited outlets.
