not impressed
The hotel had a nice picture, but it turned out to be the model room that they had online. The actual room was horrible and it had a weird smell. I would never stay there again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Well worth the savings
Just needed a room to "crash" in & this was perfect. While not a 5 star hotel, it did offer a continental breakfast, wi-fi internet access & was very clean. We stayed 1 night, then moved to a hotel in the Inner Harbor. What a huge mistake. While the Inner Harbor hotel was MUCH nicer, with a much nicer view, it also cost 4 times as much, plus we had to pay for parking. I head to Baltimore often to visit family,& all future stays will be at Americas Best. My only complaint about the hotel is that the bed is as hard as a rock & the air conditioner is very noisy, but for the savings Ill deal with it! Also, I dont undertand other reviews complaining about not feeling secure walking around at night. Its kind of in a more industrialized area, so why would you want to go walking around at night anyway? Where the heck where these people walking to?
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Dont bother staying at an Inner Harbor hotel just for the parking. It will cost you more to pay for parking at the hotel than if you stay elsewhere & pay to park in one of the Inner Harbor parking garages. Example: it cost us $25 to pay for parking at the Inner Harbor hotel, but when we stayed at Americas Best & drove to the Inner Harbor, we only paid $10 at the parking garage 1 block away from the Inner Harbor hotel garage!
