Awesome location
We went to fort myers beach just for a long 4 day weekend. It was in september so not their busiest time of year. We really liked the location of the hotel it’s farther down the beach strip in a more serene area. At the top of where the strip begins is great shopping and bars but where we were was more quiet and nicer over all. I would highly not getting the king rooms, they were very small. We started with the king room but asked to be switched to a different which they did for us at no additional charge. I loved Pinchers! They have great service, great food and awesome happy hour. The hotel is right on the beach and the walk to the water is nice, some reviews said it was far but it wasn’t far in my opinion. Would totally stay there again. Great pool area, right next to the outdoor bar/food area. It was a perfect stay!

Holiday Inn Great Location
The Fort Myers Beach Holiday Inn is located on the quiet North end. The service and room bordered from good to excellent. Our room was a first floor with pool view. You stepped out of the room and looked to the right and got a good view of the gulf. The Tiki bar was wonderful with friendly service and good specials. There was live music on Saturday and Sunday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. There is also dining right in the hotel. The food there was good, but the service was a tad slow. All in all our stay at the Holiday Inn was great and we will be back next year

Check Your Hotel Bill Carefully
Overall we had a good stay. The room was clean and the pool area was nice. The on-site restaurant was convenient and the food was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. You have to get coupons from the front desk in advance if you want your kids to eat free. The walk from the hotel to the beach was a little long but not that bad. The only problem we had was the hotel put another guests food charges from the restaurant on our room bill. I found out at checkout and it took over a half hour to get it fixed. Although they fixed it....it almost made us late getting to the airport on time for our flight home. Not a good way to end a trip an otherwise great trip! So check your bill early and carefully before checking out!!!
