Noisiest place Ive ever stayed
The rooms here are condo units and I stayed in room 321. I have a feeling they may all be a little different, based on the differing door locks. If you stay here, make sure you ask for a room that does not overlook Lemon St. At all hours of the night it is a busy, noisy street. Louvered windows do not keep out noise. The unit itself was fine. Just dont expect to get much sleep, if any, during the night.

Air Conditioners are too small to cool the rooms in summer months!
I would recommend the hotel in the NON-SUMMER months only! Originally, I booked a room without a view. The AC did not cool the room and it was very hot. The next day, I was upgraded to a room with a kitchenette, a view of Diamondhead & the beach with a balcony. The view was spectacular, but the AC did not cool that room, either. Both rooms were very small, but we didnt spend a lot of time in our room so it did not matter. If you are visiting in the Fall, Winter, or Spring then the AC will probably not be an issue. With a working AC, this hotel would be the best value on Waikiki.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
The travelers books in the lobbies of the hotels like Oahu Gold & This Week Oahu have 2 for 1 coupons for some of the local restaurants and buffets. The Entertainment book which you have to order online also has useful coupons. I decided to not get a rental car and use the city bus instead. Although the bus is less expensive it is more time consuming to get around.
