Hotel Capri
The elegant Capri hotel is a completely renovated property situated in the heart of Capri , only 100 metres from the famous main square La Piazzetta , and a few minutes from via Camerelle (Camerelle Street), the heart of Capri's nightlife and shopping. The property, one of the island's oldest, boasts a neo-liberty-style design and features finely-decorated interiors and rooms, an elegant bar and a delightful sun terrace.

It was cute
The hotel is cute and the bellboy was very friendly. He had to lug our suitcases up the stairs because there’s no elevator unfortunately for him. The place pretty but we thought we were getting an ocean view room. It turned out we were facing the back and the only way to see the ocean was if you pressed your face up to the window and look to the left. Not what we had in mind so be wary when it says ocean view!! Also we had a room for 3 and that means one queen bed and a pull out sofa that will break your back!! The only plus was we had 2 baths.

Change money at the banks not the money exchange booths, they’re all rip offs in Europe.

Lovely hotel in Capri
We loved this hotel. It has a gorgeous setting on the cliffs of Capri just steps away from the town square and clock tower. The upscale shopping is at your doorstep. We had a small balcony overlooking the Bay of Naples. Lovely spot for a glass of wine at sundown. The hotel is beautifully decorated, has a great breakfast, and very helpful staff. It’s a little overpriced, but it’s Capri. We would definitely stay here again.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
We took a taxi from the marina to the hotel but after that used the funicular to get up and down the mountain. It’s located next to the clock tower is very efficient and economical.
