While the staff was incredibly accomodating and very pleasant, the overall condition of the hotel was below par. The parking lot was not well lit at night, and the exterior of the hotel itself was in a state of decay and disrepair. The patrons two doors down from my room actually had a hibatchi grill set up outside their room to cook their meals, and some of the male tenants made me feel very uncomfortable as a woman staying by herself.
Traveler's tip on dining
The Coyote Grill is right next door to the hotel, and is a good pick for a casual dinner. The servers and bartenders are wonderful, the prices are affordable, and the food is great.

Not impressed
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were no better than adequate. I could hear a flooding sound every time someone flushed a toilet nearby, and the beds smelled as if they had not been properly laundered. The free breakfast offered no healthy choices -- only bagels with cream cheese and doughnuts. Even a banana would have helped!

Get what you pay for...
I would recommend this motel only if you are looking for an inexpensive option... The lobby is nice, the room was rather shabby - not perfectly clean, but acceptable based on the price we paid. Breakfast was included but minimal - bagels and donuts with coffee or juice. Lowest price option in the area at that time.
