A decent place for the price, but not efficient for the business traveler
Predictably quaint and clean, but a world away from downtown New Orleans. The room had a funky smell to it, but seemed to be clean (although we did have a visitor--a giant cockroach!). The staff were very nice and accomodating.
This hotel, while not far in distance from the convention center, is on the other side of the river...which may as well be on the other side of the world! A cab ride across the river costs about $15, which becomes prohibitive if multiple trips to the convention center or downtown area are required on your trip.

Not very fresh smelling!
The first 2 rooms we were given had a bad smell to them, and by the 3rd one we went into, there was a distinct fragrance trying to overpower the bad smell.

Easy Access
We liked that it was very easy to get to, even with all the rain and flooded exit ramps. Also, we liked that it was so close to a mall.
