Decent, cheap room in a hep part of town
Ok, to start out: it’s old. Old by San Francisco standards that is (˜40-60 years), which means that all the rooms were smoked in at some point in the past. I put down "no preference" since it really doesn’t bother me, but the front desk attendant told me smoking rooms are *very* smoky so I switched. Really, other than couple-decade-old-motel stuffiness, there was no problem at all with the cleanliness or smell of the room past that Really, for the price, the amenities were pretty nice, and we were surprised at the thoroughness. Couldn’t find AC controls in the room, but other than that I was pleasantly surprised by things like the thoroughness of their continental breakfast (some places give you a muffin and cup of coffee, this had a toaster, oatmeal, hot chocolate, coffee, cereal, etc). Staff was very helpful. We had to have our luggage delivered to the motel later in the day due to a mixup at the airport and the staff was courteous and nice in making sure that we would get our bags.

Nice service
Good one. The only bug is that condition in room designed for heating only. Perhaps it’s usefull in San Francisco area but we were in hotel in quite warm days.

Descent
even we didn’t spend much of our time at the hotel, i am satisfied for what i paid for. we have a late check-in(midnight)and the staff were very accomodating. breakfast is endless till 11am, room is clean and the location is very accessible.
