Great for traveler on budget...small but all you need.
I had a double en suite room. The room was small, but what you would expect for the price. Over all the people who worked at the hotel were pleasant and helpful. The free buffet breakfast consisted of cereal, juice, milk, tea/coffe, toast, and eggs to order. Didn’t change from day to day, but it was definitely all you need to start the day. As far as the location, the hotel is 5 minutes from the Hammersmith station to take you into central London, or 10 minutes from the Shepherds Bush to take you on the central line into London. Plenty of restaurants all around--take out, sit in--as well as a super market within a two minute walk. Would defintely suggest to couples or small groups--not big families. Good value and comfortable enough lodgings. Just remember--"please mind the gap between the train and the platform"!
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
There is a super market only a few minutes walk away. This will save you money when buying a light dinner. Just ask the hotel to use their microwave. Also, you can buy pre-made sandwiches for lunch, which cuts down on food costs enormously.
