Not value for money
Hotel was clean, comfortable, located in the heart of the designer label shopping district, but nothing to write home about. The service was average, breakfast buffet was nice but not outstanding. Overly priced - did kinda put us off returning, especially as we’d just come off a luxurious cruise as well as a very pleasant hotel stay elsewhere. We were right in the thick of the buzz and excitement of this beautiful garden city though.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Perhaps look for accommodation elsewhere other than Orchard Road; unless you’re keen on designer labels, designer labels and more designer label shopping.

The hotel is well located for business trip metro in under it. All the employees are very freindly and they do everything to keep you happy. The room size is very small compare to other hotel is the local area. But for a short trip its ok. Bottle of water in the mini bar cost around 7 UDS so buy it from outside. But i will recommed the hotel for everything else.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Visit Japanese and Chinese Garden you will enjoy it. Also visit the Zoo and the night Safari it is an experienance to enjoy. Santosa island is got to see but like i say Singapore is not a please for vacation it is a play for work like business deal. But if you have spare time then do this. You can you the metro for everything.

Wonderful stay in the heart of Singapore
Very nice hotel. Located right on Orchard Road. Great shopping and restaurants all around. The facilities within the hotel excellent.

Nice Hotel in Great Singapore Location
We chose this hotel for its location and because the Marriott allows families to have two children in a room. We were traveling with our two sons, 6 and 8. Although the two double beds were not extremely large, they were fine and we were only in town for one night. Other hotels would have required us to book two connecting rooms. Our Marriott room had a mini fridge and is right in the Orchard/Scotts Road shopping district.
If you tire of hotel buffet breakfasts or just want something quicker, there is a sidewalk McDonald’s right across the street that serves breakfast as early as 4:340 am. Just take the underground tunnel to get to it.

I was very satisfied with the staff of the Singapore Marriott. They met all my needs and greatly exceeded my expectations.

The hotel was well located in which seemed like the heart of Singapore to me. The moment you step out the door you could go just about anywhere.
