An excellent experience
You need a car, if you choose this hotel, because is not near the downtown. the breakfast is excellent and the parking too. All the bedrooms have windows to the sea, everything is ok, the hotel is nice and quiet. I hardly reccomend it, it is a good combination between price and quality.

Great employees
The employees at the hotel were fantastic. The gentleman behind the counter gave us a name of great resturant and a discount card for a appeitite or dessert. All the employees that we encountered were the best and most friendliest of all the hotels we have stayed in this fall, which is a total of six.

New, Clean, Quiet and Comfortable
The hotel still has that "new" feel and as such made the stay very pleasant. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The pillow top mattress was extremely comfortable and the flat screen television was a nice touch. The only quibbles that I have are minor ones: 1) the refrigerator never reached a very cool temperature just moderately cool and 2) the fitness center only has three pieces of fitness equipment (recumbent bike, elliptical machine and tread mill... no resistance equipment) so you may want to get up early if you wish to secure a piece of equipment for a morning workout. The location is on the western part of the Seawall and away from the busier areas of Galveston which made for a very quiet stay, but not so far as to making trips to the beach, sites or restaurants inconvenient. I would highly recommend this hotel.
