Just Adequate
The hotel well adequately maintained, the service was fine, the buffet breakfast was better than expected (worth the price), but the location is deceiving. The city is a farther than most people would like to walk, and the city shuttle only leaves once an hour. If you prefer the more quiet stay, it was okay, but if you prefer the nightlife and convenience of being closer to town, this hotel is not for you.

Needs improvement
Carpets in the corridor and room needs changing or at least thorough cleaning. Cleanliness of furniture in room was dubious. Beds were very soft. Buffet breakfast was OK. Hotel is well located near the beach and has a convenient shuttle bus to the center of town. Price was very reasonable, but doesn’t make up for the bad impression regarding cleanliness.

Nice view
Nice quiet hotel with a swimming pool. Just a little our of Cairns city center but with a shuttle service into town. Nice big rooms, some with view on ocean. Good & quiet air conditioning.
