Upgraded from last stay
ROOM: We stayed 5 months ago (May ’09) and decided to stay again when we returned to the area. The rooms were re-done--decor, furniture, kitchen, etc. It was very nice! The only quirk was hearing the upstairs guest walking up the stairs, opening his door and hearing him walk around his room. Luckily it wasn’t too late in the evening and he wasn’t up all night. BREAKFAST: The juice machine was broken and they served bottled juices instead. But aside from that, everything else was still yummy! Great assortment of foods--there’s always something for everyone! Hotel was not too busy or crazy--quiet on the weekends because it’s in the business district.

Great place to stay for the Amtrak Century
The Residence Inn was a great place to stay prior to the Amtrak Century. Clean and convient, being only a mile and a half away from the Amtrak station, we’ll be back next year.

not impressed
We were checked into a room which had just had the carpet cleaned, and it was soaking wet. I had to call the office to ask for a room with dry carpet. They seemed surprised. And I could not get the free Internet to work, and rec’d no help from the office when I called. They were courteous, and it was clean. No charge for parking at least!!
