pet friendly? isnt pet FREE!
Hotel smelled like smoke, they might be pet "friendly" but they charged $10 over expedias cost for use to bring in the small dog. There was construction going on in a stairwell the night we got there, but they stopped working before we went to sleep. The staff was somewhat friendly, but not very courteous at all. I will not be staying here again.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The Chattanooga Aquarium in downtown, about 20 minutes from this hotel, more if there is bad traffic. The aquarium was nice and got the bad hotel stay off our minds. :)

Cheap place, not many perks
Booked room with fridge/microwave and the first room he sent us to didnt have either. So we ended up on the second floor. you had to walk past all the smoking rooms to get to the nonsmoking rooms and the halls reeked of smoke. Room was good size (king bed). linens were okay. bathroom was great size. there was a burn in the carpet from the iron. cable was good, had to use the wireless from another hotel because theirs was too slow. breakfast was decent (cereal, muffins, waffles). Pool was down, but you could have easily used the other hotels outside pool (5ft away). Either way, the location was great, and Id go back there if the deal was right.

Good Price, Safe Location
I came to town for a business conference at Barcamp 2009 at Chattanooga State. This location was about the right price, seemed to be in a safe well lit area, room was fine for my needs (bed wasnt the most comfortable but for an overnight wasnt a big deal). There seemed to be a lot of families staying there as well from what I could tell of the breakfast crowd.
Traveler's tip for business travelers
bring your own aircard. I was able to temporarily connect to the wifi, but it didnt last more than 5 minutes. (typical for most hotels these days)
