OBX great escape
Our room was clean. The staff was very helpful with specific needs and requests. The restaurant offered fresh seafood dishes along with a full bar. I appreciated the access to the indoor pool, spa and beach.

I would definitely stay here again. I would also tell my friends about the Ramada in Nags Head.

It was ok
It’s a room, no complaints per se. Don’t stay stay on the 1st floor unless you enjoy dogs whining, barking, and milling around outside without leashes. We actually had one enter our room when we had the door open. Other then the dogs it was fine, not great, but fine. I’m going to try other hotels there, but if I need to, I would stay again, just not on the first floor. Oh, one more thing, the dune view on the first floor is literally you looking right at a dune. LOL You can see over it to the beach. LOL
Traveler's tip on dining
Black Pelican is excellent dining. Mako Mike’s is okay. The steams seafood at Awful Authers is great, but expect to wait forever if you go during lunch or dinner time. Best to go on very off hours like 3:30pm.
