will go back, courteous staff, good food, great location
my family and i enjoyed our stay, we are used to using the location in new york city so once we saw location in syracuse, we had an idea what to expect from the embassy, Only disappointment was entering the suite to see a huge carpet stain, this was a total turnoff, asked to be relocated only to find that this suite too had a similar carpet stain as soon as you entered. didnt bother to complain, just stayed the weekend and left, hope they do something about those rooms, nice hotel great staff,

Will stay again for future visits
We were visiting Syracuse University. This was a reasonably priced hotel in the vicinity. The location of this hotel is on a street that is mltiple hotels. Many closer hotels were too expensive for us. This hotel provided everything that we needed in a very relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed the included breakfast, which was quite tasty. We were not around to take advantage of the Manager’s reception. We enjoyed the extra space provided by a suite. We also dined at the hotel restaurant, and found the food and service to be good. While you need to pay extra for Internet service in the room, the business office was located off the lobby, and we were able to meet our minimal needs that way.

Looks (and is) even better than the photos !
Friendly, helpful staff, swimming pool, spacious "open concept" hotel foyer and nice rooms ... a bit dark, but spacious. A nice perk is the "manager’s reception" - free drinks from 5:30 - 7:30 PM EVERY day. I highly recommend this Embassy Suites located right beside Interstate 90.

Try the Syracuse Chief’s home field ... also, the New York State Fair is well worth the visit (in late August)
