Nice hotel, Convenient location
This is a newer hotel with an easy to get to location. The accommodations were good although the carpet was dated and needed to be replaced. It also seemed like the AC was not working correctly. We upgraded to have the Continental breakfast included which was adequate for our needs. Check-in was easy and staff very helpful.
This hotel is about 30 minutes from the airport with easy access. I would not recommend staying close to the airport. You would be in the middle of cactus. If you enjoy beer and good food, 1702 Lounge on 1702 Speedway has over 40 beers and decent food. It’s also next to the university. Nimbus Brewing is also a good place for beer and sports.

I like the HiltonTucson East Hotel. I will visit again even with the long drive I need to make to get to my folk’s place. It has great views of the city. It is worth it because it is a very nice hotel and I need to be able to get a good night’s rest.
Hike in the mountains when you are in Tucson.

Impressed with Tucson hotel
We got a great deal on this hotel through Expedia and were pleasantly surprised at how nicely updated the room was. It felt very luxurious especially after half a day on the road. The only problem we had was that the air conditioner wouldn’t work at first and we actually had to repair it ourselves in order to not have to change rooms (it was late, we had already unpacked & we were very tired). Make sure your a/c works right away because it is HOT in Tucson and you need to have that A/C working!
