Unimpressed
Sheets on the bed were double bed size - it was a queen sized bed. They were also showing signs of age. The other bed had fitted sheets (it was just inside the door next to the window air conditioning unit) so we slept on the second bed. We changed the sheets. The fitted sheet was King size. There were no wash clothes and the very young girl in the office said they were out! You would think a hotel of this supposed quality would have sheets that actually fit the beds.

Stay away from this place
Avoid this hotel like the plague. We were booked for a 2 night stay, but ended up leaving after the first night. Some of the highlights: the room literally had at least two dozen flies in it, courtesy of the hotel’s fish-cleaning area which apparently was never cleaned or isolated properly. It attracted swarms of flies, and also made the pool (located right next to it) pretty much unusable due to the awful stench. At night the room was unbearably hot and stuffy, but the air-conditioner unit was louder than a fighter-jet, and the windows could not be opened either without getting hit by the all-pervasive smell of decomposing fish. The sheets were torn, the towels were dirty, and generally everything was pretty nasty, including the manager’s attitude. We actually ended up spending half the night outside in the car, which I guess is about as bad as it gets as far as hotel-recommendations go.

Good motel off teh beaten path
A few long blocks off the main drag and motel lobby has limited service (no public access computer or food.) Hot water took awhile to kick in (but eventually it did.) But clean, comfortable and rooms are big.
