Diamond in the rough
If this hotel is located at the primed business district, it will cost at least three times more. The amenities it offers and its condition are A-1. Despite its location is somewhat far away from major shopping districts and attractions, the easy access to taxis and the friendly drivers (if you know Mandarin well) still makes getting around very easy. Getting to subway is a pain. It is about one kilometer from the two nearby subway stations. The walk to subway stations is not boring as you are traversing streets lined with shops, restaurants and other businesses. The view from your room is ghetto but if you care more about the accommodation and services, this is definite place to be when you visit Taipei. I have to mention their breakfast service: they serve Chinese and international dishes. The environment is clean, food is delicious, healthy and hot and has ample supply. There is free WiFi in your room. There is one drawback for those who do not speak or understand Mandarin or Taiwanese, as the front desk personnel have only limited fluency in English. (However, they are courteous, friendly and are always available)

Excellent price for 4 stars hotel, modern facilities, new and clean, all drinks and snacks were no extra charge.

Well worth the money
I stayed in this hotel for four nights. The rooms were very nice and I was particularly impressed with the free breakfast.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Be sure to take a taxi to the hotel, it really is quite difficult to find on your own. A map and phone number might also be useful for the taxi drivers.
