Good value for money
Stayed here to be close to Lake Charles’ casinos. Good location, good price, decent room complete with refrigerator and microwave. Would stay here again.
3 minutes from isle of capri casino on the right side of the bridge. Easy access.

Nice hotel for the price
The hotel was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The parking was kind of a nightmare, but the staff were excellent and helpful. We only stayed two nights, but enjoyed it. Also, its half the price of a hotel in Lake Charles.

Convenient for Those Who Are There to Fish!
We have stayed at La Quinta several times. The hotel is an older one and the reason we choose to stay there. Our purpose in traveling to this area is to fish. La Quinta is the only hotel that has outside doors. We secure some of our fishing equipment in the room with us and this is not conducive with the style of the newer hotels. I would rather not walk through the lobby with my fishing rods and tackle boxes but I would also rather not leave them in the truck unsecured. I would not say that the hotel is dirty but it is old as evidenced by the carpet, paint etc...
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
We have had much fun fishing at Holly Beach and La Quinta is one of the closest hotels...35 miles from the fishing.
